Hosted by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Virtual
The 9th Annual Medical & Health Symposium will be held November 13-15, 2024. Last year’s event was a huge success, registration exceeded 7,600 health care providers, administrators, and legal professionals from 37 countries, and all 50 states.
This year learn about the newest technology in medicine, including patient care and recovery, the impact of robotics on reimbursement, holograms in education, social isolation and loneliness, a robotic assisted spine surgery and the legal impacts of technology. Sessions will also discuss the ethics involved with today’s need to manage artificial intelligence and the growing accumulation of data.
Tyson Gentry, former Ohio State Buckeye football player, will share his story of resilience and strength after suffering a C-4 spinal cord injury. Hear his perspective as a patient, as well as, how he is using the platform he's been given to help others living with disabilities.
