The Ohio Office of Health Transformation released an announcement today that the state's workgroup has completed and submitted their recommendations on direct care workers.
Gov. Kasich proposed and the Ohio General Assembly established a workgroup to identify the core competencies required for direct care workers as a condition of receiving Medicaid payment. The Direct Care Worker Advisory Workgroup, representing home health consumers and providers, submitted its recommendations to the Ohio General Assembly on December 30, 2013.
