OAMES Teams Up with MiraVista on “PECOS Revisited” Webinar

December 12th, 2013 at 3:00 pm EST

The official PECOS Phase II implementation date of January 6, 2014 has been solidified by CMS which means providers now have less than 60 days to proactively address problematic physician records to avoid claim denials. After perpetual delays in the enactment of Phase II, we now have a final date where edits will go into effect and providers will begin to see denials for physicians that are not PECOS enrolled.  With the PECOS surrogate program now in effect, providers have a stronger chance of getting un-enrolled physicians registered in time to minimize a cash flow crunch as a result of these edits.  Don’t wait; this implementation date is not likely to be delayed again.

OAMES has partnered with MiraVista to bring you a webinar to address this timely content.

Join us as Andrea Stark discusses the fundamentals of the PECOS program, how to identify which claims and physicians are affected in your system, and what you can do to prevent and mitigate imminent denials.

You’ve got questions about what to tell physicians, and more about what you’ll tell your customers in light of CMS’s new position that the beneficiary cannot be held liable for these denials.  A live question and answer session with Andrea will take place at the end of the call to ensure your questions are answered. Don't let your revenue get tied up in unnecessary claim denials, join our webinar today!  This is a discounted webinar presented at $40 off standard rates... attend the event or get a recording for only $59.   OAMES members can use this special link to Register Today
