Call to Action! Ask Your Representatives to Join Congressional Sign-on Letter Seeking CB Round 2021 Delay

The national HME community is called to action by the American Association for Homecare to gain co-sponsors on a letter urging CMS to delay the competitive bidding program for one year or through the duration of the Public Health Emergency (whichever is longer).

The deadline to sign on to the letter is Wednesday, July 29, and we encourage HME providers and stakeholders to join in this effort ASAP!  Given the challenges facing Capitol Hill in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, an email to the staffer handling healthcare issues for your Representative is the quickest, most effective way to make contact.  You can find the healthcare staffer here.  Be sure to share the Dear Colleague and sign-on letter in your email.

Please reach out to your elected official in the US House as soon as possible.  If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact Kam Yuricich in the OAMES office.

UPDATE:  As of 7/24/2020, Ohio Rep.Troy Balderson (R) and Rep. Bob Latta (R) have indicated that they're signing on to the letter.
