Make a Face-to-face Meeting with Congress Priority—Attend the Washington Legislative Conference

Hotel Rates Available Thru May 6

OAMES is proud to partner with the American Association for Homecare urging all members to join us at the Washington Legislative Conference, May 25-26. With critical legislation currently needing support, Members of Congress need to understand what is at stake for the HME community, and we need members of that community to help explain it to them. This is best done in person.

Wednesday General Session Includes Legislators and Panel on Rural Issues
Homecare champions Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.), are just a few of the powerful speakers providing insight and encouragement to the industry during the 2016 Washington Legislative Conference.  In addition to congressional speakers, general issue education, and lobbying tips, Wednesday’s general session will feature a panel discussion of issues affecting rural providers.  The panel, moderated by John Gallagher, vice president of government relations for VGM, and Rose Schafhauser, executive director of the Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services will discuss how to address the challenges of serving patients in these areas, and how to communicate these issues with your patients and policymakers.
