The following is a list-serve message from National Government Services posted 1/19/2016 regarding the transition from NGS to CGS:
As announced on January 11, 2016, CGS will begin administering the Jurisdiction B DME MAC beginning June 27, 2016. To assist Jurisdiction B suppliers throughout the implementation period, CGS has created a new telephone Help Desk.
The help desk is staffed with customer service advocates who are available Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time to answer general questions regarding the implementation of the Jurisdiction B DME MAC. To reach the Help Desk, dial 1-877-363-8895.
It is important to note that questions concerning claims, etc. should continue to be handled by the NGS Provider Contact Center until 6/24/2016.
CGS has also created a new online Jurisdiction B Implementation Web page. The page is located at www.cgsmedicare.com/jb. The web page provides updated information on implementation activities and it has a “submit a question” feature which allows suppliers to email general questions about the implementation. Jurisdiction B suppliers can also view a “Welcome” video which introduces CGS and our plans for an efficient implementation. Jurisdiction B suppliers will be able to register for the listserv, view education opportunities available, learn more about planned cutover activities and stay informed throughout the implementation period.
