OAMES is collaborating with the American Association for Homecare to show the lengths to which our members will go to ensure patients have their needed home medical equipment by collecting stories of providers who braved the elements, specifically rough storms, blizzards, hurricanes, floods, or other natural impediments to deliver or maintain equipment for their beneficiaries.
These stories will help us showcase the high level of service and personal involvement that goes into providing these essential products and highlight the terrific dedication of HME providers to their patients. If there are pictures or testimonials you could provide with this, those would be helpful, as well.
Your input will demonstrate that access to HME is not just a fair-weather need, and help us remind Capitol Hill, regulatory agencies, and media audiences of the important, but often-overlooked, high degree of dedicated service that goes along with providing home medical equipment to those in need living independently at home.
