New “Roof Top” Data Shows Continued Location Decrease in Ohio

AAHomecare recently shared their latest report on brick-and-mortar HME locations for each state.  Once again, Ohio shows contraction in the industry, with 8 less locations since the last report was released in early 2025.  Since the widespread implementation of DMEPOS Competitive Bidding in 2013, AAHomecare reports an overall decline of about 37.5% in the total number of supplier locations across the nation.  With this continual reduction, your membership and activity in OAMES becomes increasingly important.  Your voice is still a crucial component for our industry, especially when it comes to grass roots endeavors!  If you have questions about how to become more involved, please contact Heidi at the OAMES office for more information.
