Ask Your Member of Congress to Sign the OIG Letter to Study Medicare Bid Program Impact

If you haven't done so yet, please contact your member of Congress and ask them to sign on to the Dear Colleague letter requesting the OIG to conduct a review of the competitive bidding program prior to the countrywide expansion in 2016. This letter was created by Rep. Price (R-GA), Rep. Braley (D-IA), Rep. Reed (R-NY), and Rep. Duckworth (D-IL).

OAMES Board has officially voted to support the letter and so far, we have three Ohio Members on Congress signed on.  Those include Rep. Tim Ryan (D), Rep. Pat Tiberi (R) and Rep. Bill Johnson (R).

See the list of 26 that have already signed by clicking here.

See the Dear Colleague letter here.

Also see the letter to Inspector General Levinson here.

OAMES associate member VGM has made it easy for providers to contact their legislator!  Simply click here to access VGM's DC link. Here you will be able to send an already composed letter to your congressional member.

The deadline has been bumped until the Fourth of July recess in order to get more signatures. Please message your member of Congress if they are not already on the list.
