Ohio Department of Medicaid RFI #1 & #2 Closing on 3/03/2020

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. EST, the response period for the ODM Managed Care Procurement Requests for Information (RFIs) will close.

RFI #1 is focused on gathering feedback and input from providers, advocates, and individuals about their experiences with the current managed care program and suggestions for improvement. Visit the RFI #1 page on managedcare.medicaid.ohio.gov for details on how to submit your response prior to the deadline.

Additionally, RFI #2 - targeted toward providers, associations, advocacy groups, data and information technology vendors, and managed care organizations - will close on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. EST. This second RFI outlines our vision for a reimagined statewide managed care program. If you would like to provide input, a link to RFI #2 and additional information on the process for responding can be found on the Request for Proposal page on medicaid.ohio.gov.

Even after the closure of the RFIs and throughout the procurement process, the Managed Care Procurement mailbox - MCProcurement@medicaid.ohio.gov - will remain open as a way for providers, advocates and individuals to communicate with ODM about the current managed care program.

What's Next: Managed Care Procurement Future Phases

In the upcoming months, the ODM Managed Care Procurement will enter its third phase, resulting in the release of a request for applications (RFA) from all potential vendors.

Throughout this process, the Managed Care Procurement website, located at managedcare.medicaid.ohio.gov, will continue to be a resource for periodic updates on the procurement and the reimagined Medicaid managed care program.

Continue to check OAMES website often for updates.
