AAHomecare learned Friday morning, June 28, that C2C Solutions, Inc., CMS’ current Qualified Independent Contractor (QIC), was was unsuccessful in a protest to remain in that role and that MAXIMUS was awarded the contract. As the QIC contractor, C2C implemented and administered the successful QIC Telephone Demonstration, which allowed suppliers the opportunity to speak with reviewers and provide additional documentation. September 15th will be last discussion C2C will offer. By December 31st, all decisions will be made and all reopening activity will be completed.
